• Is it normal to be obsessed with your job?

Okay so I have worked in an office since late May, it's an entry-level position that has me doing spreadsheets all day (which I strangely don't hate). So I don't hate the job itself but there are these strange feelings I'm having about it. The company is a large transnational organization but the administration in the country where I live are run by one Jewish family. The big boss is married to the second in charge boss (I doubt their screwing each other as they are married) and their two daughters have high up positions in the office as well. Ever since working for these people I am finding that I have now become totally obsessed with what goes on at the office (work-wise), with the people I'm working for and I can't help but run scenarios where certain events occur that has something to do with them. I have become rather fascinated with Judaism and modern Jewish culture where I was never like that before. Should it be normal for me to feel how I feel about a new job?
I'm obsessed with my job, I work at a gaming lounge so yes :v:
You're just curious. And planning an assassination.
It's possible you have no life other than what goes on at your job.
it is weird to be obsessed with spreadsheets
I guess it's good that you're interested in your job- I bet it makes the time fly by quicker. If you're enjoying your work, you're getting paid to enjoy yourself! Don't question it, just get paid :v:
It's very obvious that your life outside of work is very mundane. You're fascinated because your life is boring, basically. Sorry to break it to you champ.
You're going to die
Yeah you should find a nice Jew of your own and stop worrying about other people's Jews.
If you actually like your job, don't complain. Think of the millions of people who have to bore themselves 8 hours a day for their whole life.
I envy OP. I'd rather not work at this point.
I also envy the OP. I have been at jobs where I couldn't stand the people I worked with. And I would get out of there at lunch or if I didn't get out I'd have some alone time in the loo. Not fapping but with my head in my hands.

If it's keeping you productive and happy, why not. Showing that you're interested in the workplace may even get you a promotion sooner...
Depends on where you work, I suppose. Some people take dead end jobs way too seriously and let any ounce of authority they get go to their heads.
