As with Minecraft, new features will be added throughout the open beta. An auction house, character customisation, items, quests, and more are planned.
So I think we can pretty much have a general idea about what the game will NOT feature
WTF I'd rather play a flash game
So I think we can pretty much have a general idea about what the game will NOT feature
Things the game will feature once Notch decides to work (read: take vacations) on something else and passes the game on to Jeb who actually gets something done.
Nobody's going to buy it. Calling it
It's hard to repeat what they did with Minecraft. Many devs were at this kind of point and failed. Let's see how it turns out.

That video makes the game look so unappealing
WTF I'd rather play a flash game
It LOOKS like a Flash game, seriously. I mean, I don't have anything against Flash games (Binding of Isaac and all that), but that's the most uninspired, bland fantasy art style I've seen in ages.
I'm reserving my opinion until I have a chance to play it, MC looked absoloutely terrible before I actually sat down and played it, now I have 2500+ hours
It's a flash game about a fantasy card game how lamer can you possibly get
It doesn't matter how bad it *looks*, since we're all able to judge the quality and entertainment value from a few screenshots and video. If even 50% of his rabid fan base buys it (and you know they will) it will be another crazy hit for Mojang and they'll be raking in the dough again.
Sounds like it's getting a good reception. It's kind of clever what they're doing. They know that whatever they release next will get compared to minecraft and totally panned by everyone - so they're getting it out of the way by releasing this.

Yeah Mojang is certainly famous now because of the 'success' of Minecraft, but Mojang is probably the most unreliable company I can think of. Like, look at EA. Shitty ass DRM, but you can expect it to be there. When they do something, they go through with it.
This shit looks exactly like Skyrim. Bethesda should file a lawsuit because I nearly pre-ordered this instead of buying Skyrim
