Installed an update for Adobe Flash Player, now Youtube won't run.

I was checking out some videos on youtube and saw something below the video rec recommending I update my flash player. I did, and now all flash related things including youtube doesn't work now.
How do I fix this?
What browser are you using? If you reinstall flash from the official website http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ then it should fix it
Not uncommon. I run Firefox and there have been times when YouTube won't work post-update. A reinstallation would do the trick.
Well that's not working now because even though I uninstalled it, when I reinstall it, the installer says I'm still using it.

someone please help me, I have no idea how to fix this :x
It'll say you're still using it if your browser is open, if when you close the browser it still doesn't work then try restarting your computer and installing it

So for some reason, now youtube is working again.
I have no clue how that happened, I just came home from the gym and decided to look up something, watched a video, and then realized that it was working all of a sudden.
So thanks for all your help anyway. I'm gonna ask for this thread to be closed now.
Ok so it's an on off thing for youtube, but other video players like springboard, blip, and the players on other sites aren't working as well.
Okay. Download CCleaner.

Now once you've installed it, run it. On the left, click tools. Then find anything that says Adove Flash Player and click uninstall.
Now click registry (above tools), click 'Scan for Issues'. Once the scanning is done, click 'Fix Selected Issues'. Say yes to backing up the registry if you want to be safe. If not don't worry. It will then remove any broken registry files.
Do the scanning procedure a few times until nothing comes up on the scans anymore. HOPEFULLY your computer should have nothing with Adobe Flash Player and you can do a fresh install.

What now?
That has to mean that something is using it. Check in task manager for any browser processes (iexplore.exe, chrome.exe, firefox.exe etc)
