A four-year-old boy showed his talents as a budding artist in this nice drawing he did… all over his dad’s passport. The child got busy during a recent family trip to South Korea, where he took to the back page of his dad’s Chinese passport with a black pen and drew some really nice pictures of people, animals, and – obviously – added a bit more hair to his dad’s face. Classic.
The only problem is that now his dad is stuck in South Korea because of his unrecognisable documentation, and authorities have warned it is likely he won’t be able to travel home with his son, and the rest of his party.
The picture was originally posted on social networking site Weibo by the father, known only as Chen, alongside a plea for help.
Kids will be kids, I just hope people (especially the parents) will understand that.
When I saw the title I was like "pssh, stuck up assholes how bad could it possibly be?"
And then I saw the picture.
I wish every passport looked like that.
I want to know how the kid got a hold of his passport in the first place.

None of us would ever be able to leave our countries unless we attempted to do so illegally, then.

The father probably left it lying around somewhere, or the kid was smart enough to figure out where it was if he was in need of doodling material.

I am so glad someone posted this as it was the first thing that came to mind.
My passport has all the important bits under plastic. So that couldn't happen to me. (And no, I don't give 4 year olds waterproof pens.)

Hate to say this, but you're not a cat, a seal, or a devil. And by the way, Cobrastan is not a country.

Waterproof, but not alchool proof, so even then, you'd be fine.
(if it was on the laminated parts...)
Kinda have it coming if its in reach of your child. An important rule of thumb with kids: If you can't afford to have it broken/drawn on/drooled on/chewed on; you keep it out of reach, or you don't have it period.
Or just don't have kids at all.

But that would decrease the population of the world.
okok
