The rapper said: "Just move with the times, stop trying to block people from doings things. It all works."
So right
He has the right idea really.
I hate the guys music, but I respect him a lot for speaking out against this.
what a coincidence, I'm listening to one of his songs right now
Well even if I don't particularly enjoy his music, his take on the music industry is something I can't argue with. Who the fuck is apple to start switching people's phones off anyway, wankers.
He's got a tiny temper with this sort of shit
I personally could never understand wanting to record every moment of life like some people seem to. Why even record a concert when the result is always a jumbled low quality piece of junk anyway? Censoring it is the wrong move for sure and it won't stop people from recording. If anything it'll increase the number of jail broken phones.
He's got a tiny temper with this sort of shit
You're so clever.
I don't really understand why people record gigs rather than enjoying themselves but if I'm not able to go to a show, it's nice to be able to watch them over the internet. Especially when a rare-song is played.
"in areas where picture or video capture is prohibited". Wow this isnt open to abuse at all... I can see Police being equiped with infared emitters that will block your camera so you cant film them.
His musics nice, not my style, but I respect him for this, even though I just heard of him.
He's got a tiny temper with this sort of shit
Whoooaaa don't put the shit in the diaper just yet :butt:! He wasn't even being angry, just calm.
Are... are you serious?
I don't know, my minds in the shitter right now considering how late it is right now... what site am I on?
"in areas where picture or video capture is prohibited". Wow this isnt open to abuse at all... I can see Police being equiped with infared emitters that will block your camera so you cant film them.
There is a very simple solution to this. 1 : Acquire duct tape. 2 : cover your phones fucking IR transceiver. 3 : ????. 4 : Profit. [editline]18th June 2011[/editline] Or, don't buy Apples shit, that should do the trick. At least if Google do this as well with Android, I can get a custom ROM which removes the feature.
I don't particularly like his music but he has the point I've been trying to convey and I don't think Apple should be allowed to, should be up to the artist if they don't want people filming or not and even so Apple doing this wont stop the filming as they don't make the only cameras on Earth.
That is propably the most over extending thing I have ever seen Apple try to do. Ever.
It'd never work, every time it sensed flashing lights or anything it'd shut off. Also why the fuck would apple even want to do this? They have no right, or need to.
Apple are now trying to be like this:
It'd never work, every time it sensed flashing lights or anything it'd shut off. Also why the fuck would apple even want to do this? I can kinda see all sides of the argument. Filming a gig doesn't really allow yourself to throw yourself around and really get into it. But nobody has the right to stop you. Apple shouldn't be trying to control what people do when they're at a gig they paid for.
