Coastguard spokesman Filippo Marini said that the search operation would continue “as long as there is hope of finding survivors”.
The survivors “are in good health, although they are suffering from hypothermia,” after staying for hours in the water, Marini added.

This is the second migrant boat sinking this week by the way. 60 refugees died a week ago on another boat sinking.

Why? Europe is not a babysitter. Why should it be overpopulated with immigrants and lose its culture just because other countries can't keep up?

You should know this subject better than me, since you're from Sweden.
It's not about being weak or not. Immigrants can easily overcrowd Europeans, and eventually Europe would lose its culture.

Legally they wouldn't have been "let in" and nobody said they necessarily should. But your lovely description of a Europe "overpopulated with immigrants" at risk of "losing its culture" suggests you would be glad to turn them away even if they had had the means to legally enter and discussion regarding immigration laws would be pretty fruitless.
I'd love to hear your account of how modern American culture definitely wasn't shaped by western European, especially German immigrants in the 19th century and some indication of the exact date where culture should be frozen and not allowed to develop anymore.

But right now immigrants are in the minority, yet you seem to claim that their culture somehow is going to overshadow the European ones. Can you explain to me how that's going to happen. I keep hearing it, but I don't really understand. Are Europeans just suddenly going to stop their traditions?

And if so many European countries didn't have so shitty integration because these immigrants are unwanted, maybe the immigrants wouldn't try and stay in their culture and surround themselves with people of similar cultural backgrounds. What else would you do if the place you arrived at reacted with hostility to you and your culture?
