This makes me wonder are there non-windows compatible games on steam?

Let's not forget that EA has shown no signs of supporting Linux. And they make plenty of games worth playing for many people.
Lets not forget as well that even if a game isn't marked as Linux compatible it doesn't mean it can't be made to do so. Games running in DOSBOX or games with their engine source code released like most ID software games can most likely be made to run.

Basically unplayable.
Source on Linux in general is kind of wack, I don't think Valve put a whole lot of QA into it TF2 for me runs at sub-slideshow framerates, whereas every other Valve game I've tried (CSGO, Dota (haven't tried Source2 Dota), HL1, i think HL2) ran just fine
This makes me wonder are there non-windows compatible games on steam?
Yep. There is a game named Don't Be Patchman that was, when it was launched, exclusive to Linux. It got a Windows port about a month later.
it still remains Linux exclusive on steam at least.
What?
Worth noting is that Steam has 2,323 OS X compatible games. I'd say Linux is catching up at a tremendous rate.
What?
huh. little OS icons higher up the page seem to indicate steamos only for me anyhow. Either way, its kind of a token gesture for a game that doesn't really have much notoriety either way to be exclusive at launch. Maybe the dev released it first cause that is what he is more familiar with and uses as his daily driver or whatever. Be interesting to see what comes out in the future, never really heard of many OSX games that launched exclusive, due in part to the fact that unless you really want to drive an agenda you just annoy potential customers (esp those that account for the vast majority of users) by not having it be available to them day 1.
I wish there was a way to see the games you own that run on Linux.
I wish there was a way to see the games you own that run on Linux.
There is you just have to use the steam Linux client and the games filter can select [SteamOS/Linux] and it also gives the total number.
I wish there was a way to see the games you own that run on Linux.
You can either run native Linux Steam and it'll show you or you can go to https://steamdb.info/linux/, sign in, and you can tick unowned games.
dude i think you broke it
I just might've. I'm trying to see what the hell I actually did. [editline]right[/editline] Should work now
