I remember the E3 trailer. It looked like a better premise than the first one, and I heard Jack Black's voice so that was something I was kinda looking forward to.
Glad it's not dead, and I wonder how the final version is going to turn out.
Honestly 1 was alright and Dying Light was amazing
I hope that the medieval fantasy game they're working on will work out for them
Dying light was Dead Island: Good Edition to me so I've kinda got all I need from the series but if it's good I might pick it up.

Dead Island 2 isn't being developed by Techland. And Hellraid was "indefinitely postponed" so Techland could focus on Dying Light content.

Dead Island in all aspects was incredibly mediocre imo. It was such a dull experience in pretty much all ways. Dying Light was its successor in every way.

Hellraid has been in limbo since 2014. The game looks awesome from the screen shots and should be beautifully gory if it ever releases.
I want dying light 2. And one of the few times I care about a larger world with more to discover.

that wasn't actually Jack Black fyi, just some sound alike.

They should get the actual Jack Black in :V
I still have Hellraid on my steam wishlist it'll come out someday right???????????
lol Dead Island 2 doesn't need to exist in a world where Dying Light does.
All joking aside I was interested in what Yager had in store for the game when they were in charge of development, it could've meant that they had something to differentiate it, but now since a different developer has took over I don't have high hopes for it (especially since Yager left due to having "creative differences" than what Deep Silver wanted).
I enjoyed Dead Island 1 for what it was personally, some elements of the game absolutely felt rushed (see: the end of the game), and I've been meaning to play Dying Light for a while. Dead Island 2 not being developed by Techland doesn't give me hope, though.
Still hoping for HellRaid someday ;-;

Well he should know he does a very good job

Game looked sweet as hell. Really hope it comes to fruition.

Biggest issue with it is that we'll be seeing an endless horde of "its like dying light meets dark souls" articles
I'm not sure if I will survive the spam
