So my computer just started slowing down from things it always used to be able to do.
It starts fine in photo shop, fallout, and any other game, but then slows down after 10 minutes like crazy and doesn't return to normal.
The only things I have changed are:
using E drive
having less space on all drives
I still have 10 gig open on each drive so I wanna know if I need more.
I also just started using Kaspersky instead of ZoneAlarm.
Propably a virus, format it.
Run malware bytes.
Alright I started MB up.
I have formatted it once a few months ago, got 23 gigs on C:\
Is 10 gigs on each drive enough?
And what kind of hard drive is the E drive? Is it different than the C drive? Also, clear out dust. Could be overheating.
Idk my dad built it and set it up so it has C:\ D:\ and E:\ split evenly with space
E:\ is mostly for shared documents and backup, D:\ is for music and C:\ is for music, pics, games
Then it's three partitions most likely. So that doesn't matter.
Alright then I'll clear out dust. I usually do that three times a year but I haven't in a while.

still slow
How old is your machine, it could be your hard drive wearing down. It could be a build up of bad sectors. google SeaTools and scan your partitions.
