Just installed Windows 7; HL2 crashing immediately

Well, after a very exciting day involving me getting a new PC, I installed Steam and stuff. However, it was on XP. So, I installed windows 7, moved my shit back from windows.old, and CSS+GMOD work. However, HL2 loads, gets to the point right before the menu, then crashes with a simple "HL2.exe has encountered a problem" shit. Not sure what the problem is, help?
Specs:
Pentium 4 @ 3.2ghz
2gb DDR2 Corsair RAM
Radeon HD2600XT AGP (getting a new mobo, but this runs shit pretty good (css maxed(1280x1024) averaged at 60fps))
Install video drivers
If what EG said doesn't work try installing the DirectX End-User Runtime.

Doing this, as well as installing the end-user runtimes for DirectX. Wish me luck :p
Do you have 64bit? If so try putting -32bit in the css launch options

32 bit. CSS works, but HL2 and Insurgency don't. I'm not even sure I'm installing the right drivers, seeing as ATI decided to switch to this shitty catalyst download manager shit. If anyone can find the drivers for a ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT, I'll greatly appreciate it. Omega doesn't have a Windows 7 version of their drivers, either. :(
You don't need brand-specific video drivers
Search up Radeon HD Drivers in google and click the link that has AMD/ATI as their domain.

Omega makes hacked drivers for improved performance, they're not a video card brand.

For those of you rating me dumb, I'm assuming that Unreliable thought "Omega doesn't have a Windows 7 version of their drivers, either." implied Omega are a video card brand and replied by stating "You don't need brand-specific video drivers," thinking the OP was looking for Omega-specific drivers.

I meant the Omega drivers, not Omega's drivers, :v:

Yes I did think that and I accepted that I was wrong, I posted the amd/ati because I thought that he couldn't find any drivers at all and he was looking for a brand of drivers from a company.
I haven't ever heard of omega.
