On steam page it's listed as SP, MP and MMO. What does that mean? Can you play it in singleplayer with optional mmo component or what?

This does have something to add though, the absolutely massive map with many players roaming the place, quite like an MMO. Before you bring up FUEL, it had the massive map but the game itself just wasn't very good.
I played the beta of this and I quite liked it.

Then in the past month shit like crew credits and uplay has started showing up. Making me lose most faith in the game.
If I'm going to pay $60 for a game there should NOT be an in-game microtransaction currency.

im saying complaining about microtransactions in a racing game is pretty much pointless now since the Big Two (Forza and GT6) already do it and theres nothing to do to stop it.
And That i am going to buy the crew because i support arcade racers, reguardless of microtransaction bullshit

except both of those has been known for ages..
if you actually played the beta you'd realise it's not that hard to make money to buy stuff.
you can buy everything in game with regular money.
about those pre-order bonus cars, are they early access or exclusively for pre-order?
