But it'll all be instanced, and the way TOR handles unpacking files to load anything, everything takes forever to load, even on a SSD. And Free players don't even get access to any of it for two months after it releases, which is yet more proof that TOR is absolute shit unless you sub (And I'll admit, if you're subbed it's not bad, now) If you aren't, you're not in the minds of the developers and can get fucked
If you aren't, you're not in the minds of the developers and can get fucked
No, but you're in their pockets.
And Free players don't even get access to any of it for two months after it releases
Boo fucking hoo. Waiting 2 months for a free personal housing update? Horrible! Why would they have a subscription option if it didn't have these advantages over the free option? That's the fucking point- its to make subbing worth it, not to fuck over F2P players to stroke some evil greed boner for the fun of it. And when F2P players get the FULL VERSION of the content, not the early access version that subscribers get, just 2 months after, then fuck off with the whining. But no, it's SWTOR- gotta shit on it no matter what!
I'd forgot this even existed. A part of just sort of subconsciously assumed it had died out ages ago.

It definitely won't be anywhere near as good as the player housing that Star Wars Galaxies had.
translation: Bioware saw Wildstar and still wants money.
Wildstar didn't invent MMO player housing.
Wildstar didn't invent MMO player housing.
No but they realized that since half their playerbase are all old SWG players another sci fi game with nice customization housing looks much more appealing.
translation: Bioware saw Wildstar and still wants money.
how bout you get fucked
translation: Bioware saw Wildstar and still wants money.
Yeah man they just wipped that shit up in a week or two after seeing it. Seriously the anti-SWTOR circle jerk is beyond stale at this point, if you can stop nick picking every little thing they try to do to genuinly give their fan base something they enjoy
not trying to be snarky or anything but people still play this? i just haven't heard anything about it and kind of forgot about it
not trying to be snarky or anything but people still play this? i just haven't heard anything about it and kind of forgot about it
It's actually the best it's been. And it's very populated.
It's actually the best it's been. And it's very populated.
ah, okay. my only connection to the game was from some friends of mine and i forgot about it once they stopped playing
not trying to be snarky or anything but people still play this? i just haven't heard anything about it and kind of forgot about it
They did mention they have over a million characters login daily.
