I'm currently overclocking an old AMD 4200+ system I bought 6 years ago. Basicly I want to know how high I can set the FSB when the memory clock speed is set to 133 Mhz (DDR_266). I suck at mathematics very bad, so I need someone to help me solve this. So far I know this: 200 x 11 = 2200 Mhz (Mem clock is set to 200 Mhz and working at 200 Mhz) 253 x 11 = 2783 Mhz (Mem clock is set to 166 Mhz and working at around 200 Mhz) ??? x 11 = ???? Mhz (Mem clock is set to 133 Mhz and should be working at around 200 Mhz) The BIOS doesn't show the actual speed the RAM is running at.
According to my maths 318.
According to my maths 318.
Thanks i will try that tommorrow. How did you come to that number?
I did: ((253/200)*100)*(200/133)
I did: ((253/200)*100)*(200/133)
reminds me of similar triangles :P
