• Motherboard not outputting video signal
    2 replies, posted
I unplugged my primary monitor earlier this morning for use with another computer, leaving my secondary monitor plugged in. I returned to reconnect the monitor, and when I rebooted the PC I was getting no signal on either monitor- so nothing's coming through VGA or DVI. I've cleared the CMOS and tested that both monitors work, and I know the PC's booting, as pressing F2 opens the UEFI with a boot noise. Can anyone e offer any help? I'm totally stuck on ideas. Thanks I should also mention I'm running an ASRock FM2A88M Extreme4+ with an AMD Kaveri 7770k.
Its possible you simply loosened the video card in its mount. I would try powering it down and reseating the card.
Do you have a dedicated GPU installed? If so the motherboard video output will be disabled.
