Solved! As the title says. I started up Skyrim, and when it usually sets the graphics to "Ultra High", for some reason it sets it to low. Not willing to use low graphics settings (or do away with all of the mods that demand Ultra-High graphics to work), I set it back to it's original settings. I start the game, and it takes longer than usual. I load my save, which also takes longer than usual, and I'm met with an absolutely unplayable framerate. Then, I decided to go and start up TF2--a very non-demanding game when it comes to graphics. I check the settings--they're all set to low. I join a server and set them back where they once were, and again, I get terrible framerate. It was only about a week ago that I had none of these problems--maximum graphics all around, for any game. And now, for some reason, this shit is busting my balls. Does anyone know what could be causing this? If so, what would be a possible fix?
Do you have multiple graphics cards? Like, a built in one that came with the motherboard and an actual seperate one? It might be setting the worse, built in one as a default which usually can't handle high-end games.

I just put it in the graphics card slot and now everything's peachy. Thanks!
