iCloud uses both S3 and Windows Azure, the two best cloud services available so I assume iCloud's security is pretty decent.

Hate to break it to you but they offer one of the larges cloud hosting solutions for businesses and have been around long before icloud

Yes but he was asking about the security. If you meant comparing iCloud and S3 in whole, you'd be right as one is tailored for a very specific purpose and one is more broad.
