I was entering my Freshman year, feeling good. I met an awesome friend the year before, his name was Anthony. So I go into class the first day, and this beautiful girl sits right next to me, and compliments my shoes. So we were talking everyday, and I really liked her. But I didn't feel that she liked me. So I kinda gave up, even though I still had feelings for her.
So the fall goes through, and she starts to date this guy. I didn't give much thought to it because it was just a high school relationship. Five months go by, and they are still dating. It hurt me to just see them together. I was very lonely and hoped for a girlfriend.
So one day I was talking to Megan (the girl), and somehow she mentioned how her and josh were introduced by anthony (my friend) at the friday night football game. She also said she was going to tell me she liked me the same night, but instead she met josh. She thought it was funny. FML

Don't be a crybaby. Once the girl and that Josh guy break up, you're good to go. You see, teenage relationships hardly last long, so it will eventuallly happen. And just because the girl chose that dude over you at the time, doesn't mean you won't be able to get the girl once they break up or something. Heck, you could even be an asshole and steal the girl from the guy. If the girl likes you, it's very possible, you just gotta outdo the other guy in some way. All you need is confidence and shit. And that you don't sit in a corner being depressed.
She likes you. That means there's still a chance.
