Wanted to know because a friend of mine wanted to do this with his ASUS AM3 M-ATX motherboard.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Aslong as he has a PCIe x16 slot and a powerful enough powersupply with 2x 6pin, it should be fine.
I doubt it will pass the edge of the mobo, the 460 is not a large card at all
my 5870 fits on my m-atx mobo, he'll be fine

i don't know why it wouldn't fit
Doesn't matter how big the card is as long as it has a full size PCIE port.
The case, however, may restrict it.

Well he needs to be more worried about his case size than anything else. As long as the mobo has a PCI-E x16 slot on it (which it does) then there is no reason why he shouldn't be able to put the card on the mobo. The main problem would be case size, but even then I think he'll be fine. The 460 isn't long at all.

Ninjas about.
It all depends on the case, if you are talking about its dimensions
The case is large enough to fit the card, so it's not a big problem

It was mostly to know if the card were able to fit on this kind of motherboard, all along with the (little) CPU fan.
We won't know the answer for sure unless you can provide some photos, or a model
