IOS4.1 questions

I have an Ipod touch 3rd gen jailbroken with 4.0, and im thinking of updating to the new 4.1, and im just wondering, if i update it will i lose all my apps(including apps from installous)?

Yes you will. When you update your Ipod basically it restores your ipod with the new os. You lose everything. I am unaware if there is a 4.1 jailbreak yet, why use installous youre stealing apps from the people, so hunt around.

Also 4.2 is for the Ipad only. It basically gives it multitasking, wireless printing, and other things. 4.2 will not effect any other devices and 4.2 is scheduled to release later this year.

Pretty much this, jailbreaking won't work if you update to 4.1.

And installuos is stupid and stealing. iPhone developers pay $100 and spend weeks making that app for your enjoyment and all they ask is for a measly couple of dollars.
So yeah, don't steal apps.

Yeah, I mean look at the quality of apps, 80% of it is high quality, right?
Nope, most of the apps are shit and the developers spend little time on games because they this is a getrich scheme. Some apps do deserve the money but most just don't.

Also, when I went from 3.1.2 to 4.0.2 (yeah I'm dumb), I kept all my non jailbroken apps and every picture on it. When you upgrade, it will ask you

4.1 is the current one, 4.2 does not exists

You're thinking of 4.0.2 my good man. 4.1 is the latest one though.
