Well what you're going for here isn't a common thing - how many heavy metal bands have you seen with Telecasters? None. That said, I have one too, but it isn't custom yet.
Since both pickups in a Tele have to be single coil unless you route out more space, you might want to think about using single coil Humbuckers.
For the bridge, you might want to go for a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail.

Or a DiMarzio Super Distortion

And for the bridge, a regular single coil for clean tones.

Or you can disregard everything I have said cause I have no idea what I'm on about
Iron Maiden uses single coils. And there are a few metal bands that use teles. John 5 and Slipknot come to mind, although they usually have humbuckers. Jari from Wintersun uses a tele with tele pickups.

I want it because its uncommon
Wanting something because no one else does is a shit excuse to get something. Get something because it's what you WANT. Chances are no one does it because there are better ways to do it.
For example, my ideal setup would be a 7 string semi hollow Les Paul style guitar with an HSS setup and piezos with a 27" scale. Pretty out there setup, but it's my ideal setup because it would accomplish everything I need it to, and because it's the most comfortable to me.
I'm digressing slightly, but my point is, if you need to ask someone help for the pickups you want to get, you don't have enough idea of what your ideal setup is to know that playing metal with singlecoils is the right way to go about getting it. That's not me flaming, that's fact.

Use some Hotrails for getting mean distortion on a single-coil size pickup
