How about fixing D.va first? Like that was the first hero discussed for changes. Oh well.

I think they mentioned that to fix D.va they'd need to completely rework her whereas I imagine zenyetta could be easily fixed with just a few tweaks
Can we get a dva buff already
Feels like she hardly does damage even on constant headshots, and too easy to destroy her mech because of the huge crit/headshot hitbox
tbh I always preferred playing Lucio or Mercy more than Zen since his healing sucks balls.
Zenyatta is more of a secondary support pick, he doesn't work too well as sole support.
Mercy feels more viable because you can just damage boost to kill/damage multiple people instead of using discord orbs for one tank or squishy

Mercy can't Discorb Orb and then kill a solid portion of heroes in a single charge attack. He's a good counter for a Bastion if you can get a decent line of sight on him. Like was said before, he's a secondary Support, and could really just be played as a damage dealer.
If you play him as a high risk/high reward type of damage dealer he's pretty incredible.
Only major issue with Zenyatta is related to his health, otherwise he's pretty solid.
Dva needs a lot of changes, she isn't a tanky tank like she should be.
Plus gotta consider they balance the characters for both the PC and Console, its not the same across both platforms so a lot of testing and ideas gotta go through.
One might work on PC but due to the clumsiness on Consoles it wont and vice versa.

they're already starting to separate things, apparently they just nerfed torb's turret damage on console but not PC. I can think of so many things to do to the turret that isn't a damage adjustment but it's neat to see they're at least prodding at things in context
I like playing Zenyatta but it's hard to justify picking him over Mercy or Lucio if you are the only support.
The worst is when your team already has a Lucio so you go Zen but the Lucio switches
Yeah zen is a great secondary support. His damage output is good and his healing is mediocre and his damage support for the team is incredible. He's very squishy, very slow, and has little ability to escape danger, so he's really relegated to back line healing and damage support. I'm not sure how they'll tweak him but as one of my most played characters id love to see it.
Nailing people in the head with his balls is so satisfying though.
I play Zenyatta when I'm tired of playing the more reliable supports. Especially when I go several games where no one wants to play support.
There is nothing more satisfying than dealing with an annoying Tracer by discording then finishing her with a kick to her tart face.

The most annoying part of Zenyatta to me is that all the other supports have some kind of survivability, each of them have higher health than Zen and Mercy+Lucio have some mobility stuff, Symettra has her defensive turrets, but Zenyatta doesn't really have anything like that beyond just dealing good damage.

I think they're stumped with D.va, if they buff her too much in her current direction, then winston will be thrown under the bus.
they should reclassify d.va as offense at this point honestly, she does not work as a tank at all imo

Honestly if you play D.va as an offense character she plays really well. Her booster gives her great mobility and you can close distance quick to get a quick shotgun kill

That's their own fault for making 2 tanks have the same role. Neither one has straight up defense (winston's bubble is on a long cooldown and is only about 1/3rd the shield of reinhardt and defense matrix has to be aimed and only lasts 3 seconds).
Really the problem with D.Va is her 80-90% reduction in movement speed the moment she starts to shoot. There is literally no reason this exists besides not making her a very mobile assassin. But the amount of movement penalty is way too much, I could casually stroll away while she shoots marshmallows at me and aim center mass and score nothing but headshots.

I barely ever see people play as Winston anyway honestly.

Let me into your games.
One thing I think they need to tweak is Meis cryo icicle. It either needs to be able to be destroyed or not be able to contest a point while frozen.

Pretty sure it doesn't contest points anymore? Reaper's Wraith form doesn't contest anymore.
For anyone saying Zenyatta's "pretty solid" or "a great secondary support..." You might be right at some skill level, but certainly not at the top.
For the lazy, Zenyatta was the only hero never picked at a recent competitive tournament, even after the Widowmaker nerf. Players changed heroes hundreds of times to match the situation and enemy team composition, but poor Zenyatta was never the best choice.
D.Va needs some minor reworking (they've said they're going to slightly buff damage or survivability, but not both) while Zenyatta needs more than that more urgently. It's no wonder they're getting to him first.
Zenyatta is decent but at mid to long range.
It's great that he's mostly shields because that way he doesn't need to heal himself but it doesn't help much when several heroes can kill him in one hit and he has no form of escape unless you're really good and can throw a discord orb on a guy then immediately land headshots

For those of us who are shit and play to have fun though Zenyatta is still certainly a decent pick and lots of fun, he just can never fit the role of a sole support.

When I see people playing Winston it's usually something like this :v:

The least they could do is give him a speed boost. Having only LoS abilities with a character that is dead the moment the enemy targets him doesnt work too well when he has a top speed of one person pushing the payload
I also feel, from personal experience sniping and running up to supports with tracer that his hitbox is extra generous. Like, lucio I find pretty hard to hit, and mercy is okay, but zenyatta it's very hard to not perfectly headshot him.
