I'm trying to make a budget build for my step mom that is future proof for the next 4 to 5 years.

So far I like it, but is there anything I can get that's cheaper that will be around the same power?
My step mom pretty much does basic surfing and email checking.
I'm afraid if I get something cheaper that it will die in the next 2 years.

By keeping everything I have, but using your HD and CPU, I was able to get it down to 375. Fucking awesome.
That CPU you posted is a beast for it's price. I just wish it had the L3 cache like the phenom.
