Why is PC getting so butt-fucked these days when it's a very important part of the gaming market?

razer tried to save pc gaming but in the end their efforts were in vain, the dark console overlords took over the gaming market

I'm talking more on how developers put no effort into their ports and then put the blame on piracy and say "PC gaming is dead" when there's shit like Steam proving it's not dead at all.

THEY TRIED GOD DAMN IT, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! HUH?

It's easier to make money on the console market because piracy is near non-existent, most of the people buying games on it are tools and you can put DLC all over it way more easily.
Not to mention you don't actually have discussion on consoles, if a game sucks you have to go on PC to check it out, there is no indication of whether a game is good or not on xbox or ps3.

They want to SAVE PC GAMING, and then create a motherfucking tablet?
How the fuck can you call that trying?

it's a classic vicious circle and not really any individual publisher's fault
PC is seen as a less profitable market than console, which leads to less development time being given to PC, which leads to more dissatisfied customers, which leads to the PC being seen as less profitable
I wouldn't say it's dying though; I see just as many PC exclusives as console exclusives, and I haven't noticed any overall decrease in online presence of PC gamers
razer tried to save pc gaming but in the end their efforts were in vain, the dark console overlords took over the gaming market
but there is a glimpse of Hope in these dark days; the Disciples of Steam know its Name, and they await the Great One's third coming
