Burn Notice is an action drama series created by Matt Nix. The show is about Michael Weston a spy currently operating in Nigeria when his cover is blown during an operation he ends up in his home town of Miami to find out that he was burned by the CIA under mysterious circumstances. Michael is tended to by his ex girlfriend Fiona Glenanne, Michael attempts to find out why he was burned in the first place while working as a private investigator to fund his search.

Jesse Porter is a counterintelligence expert who Micheal accidentally burns in season 4. Played by Coby Bell.

Madeline Westen is Michael's mother. She lost contact with Michael before the events of the show and tries desperately to prevent Michael from leaving again. Played by Sharon Gless.

The show has just entered it's sixth season and is worth watching. I've tried hard not to mention any spoilers in this thread because the show is quite heavy on story.

The new season started a little slow but it's picking up again. The addition of Jesse in the intro kinda messes up the flow.
It does seem a little thrown in there.
