i'm glad they didn't call it jailbreaking in this article
That's awfully nice of the group not to release kickback yet
From what I heard it is already possible to pirate stuff on the Mac App Store.
D'aww, who said pirates aren't nice people.
involves simply copying and pasting the purchase code to allow paid-for programs to be used for free.
How the hell do you let something like this through?
Good.
D'aww, who said pirates aren't nice people. It's a fault of the apps though, it shouldn't be Apple's job to check for code for logic flaws.
i wonder if it has a flashlight app
Pirate a white image?
Would be nice if this news bot got moved to ITN
Would be nice if this news bot got moved to ITN
No it wouldn't. It fits best here.
Mac app store is a stupid idea anyways, the whole point of a computer is that you have simple programs available to you for free. Next thing you know and you're being charged to download a fucking flash game.
Would be nice if this news bot got moved to ITN
OH MY GOD A NEWS BOT IS POSTING NON-STRICTLY GAMING NEWS IN A SECTION WHERE NEWS BOTS GENERALLY POST GAMING NEWS get over it
It's still mainly subjects that interest me, even though it's not strictly gaming.
I never liked App Store, or Cydia store, because it leads to everything costing money, from simple widgets to browsers. And now Mac OS is getting the same shit. Really, it's the end of Mac OS X. It's iOS X now. I'm not looking forward to having 1 feature utilities for 5$. [editline]9th January 2011[/editline] And all those simple games may cost money from now on. Apple did a stupid thing.
When the fuck did we get a BBC bot? :v:
Apple chief executive Steve Jobs had hailed the launch as "innovative"
How is it innovative? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't it just a digital store? Shit like that has been around for years.
Its apple
Apple chief executive Steve Jobs had hailed the launch as "innovative", but the company has yet to respond to the claims.
A place to download things is innovative? Mr jobs you are more of a retarded than I imagined
If those applications are anything like the ones offered on the mobile stores, they generally aren't worth money.
If those applications are anything like the ones offered on the mobile stores, they generally aren't worth money.
these are mostly fully fledged osx apps except for the games they mostly seem to be like iOS stuff but hey they sell that kind of stuff on steam as well
these are mostly fully fledged osx apps except for the games they mostly seem to be like iOS stuff but hey they sell that kind of stuff on steam as well
So, like productivity suites?
So, like productivity suites?
yes. although suites seem to be mostly split up (and are massively cheaper as a result). iLife is now split into it's different programs all costing about £11 each or something insanely low. So you can get something like garageband or iPhoto very cheaply. Though these are just the apple apps, there's loads of other stuff like coda which is web development software.
