I built this computer 3 days ago, everything ran fine; but yesterday my screen flickered for a while, so I decided to reconnect the monitor. The monitor is connected through a VGA-DVI converter. After the reconnection, the whole screen was extremely blue, only I could see some text in places (no, not a BSOD :|). After about 3 seconds, the whole screen went blank, and the monitor detected no signal coming from the card. I plugged it into the second DVI port, and it works. Funnily, when I plug it into the faulty port, the monitor is detected - only, there's no signal to it from the GPU. I suspect a loose connection, but is there something I can do to fix it without having to drive 50 miles to the store I bought it from to replace it/get it fixed? I'm getting a second monitor soon. I can't really use it without the port working. :|
Does the port work when you're in for example the bios?
Does the port work when you're in for example the bios?
No, the monitor's blank from boot. It isn't a driver issue.
RMA it
Yeah, RMA it.
I will RMA it, but before that, I really want to figure out what the problem is. Right now, it works if I plug it into the port halfway through, only everything's blue. I can see the windows and such, but they're all dark blue in colour. Which means it's still broken.
Faulty port

The problem is, even after waiting for a minute, the blue screen persists at boot. At the login screen, Windows seems to BSOD, only I can't figure out what the error is since everything's blue. Now I know that the GPU itself isn't faulty... hmm... perhaps I should try booting a livecd with it. BUT EVERYTHING'S STILL BLUE.
