I just bought the asus nvidia geforce 9600gt silent Grafics card but when i start my computer a pop-up tells me the card isn't running 100%, it says the card needs to be conacted to the PSU. The thing is i have no clue how to do this...
You should have one or two cables that came with your graphics card you need to connect those cables from your PSU to your graphics card.
Yea but i dont know whare i ahve to plug them in since thare are so many cables coming out of my PSU
Well maybe you should get someone who knows what they are doing to install it for you then? :raise:
a cable like this came with the grafics card http://www2.multithread.co.uk/mtcshop/images/linitx.com/products/Power_Splitter_Cable_-_2_x_Molex_main.jpg
you plug the end with 6 holes into the card you plug the two ends with 4 pins into matching cables from the power supply it's not a difficult concept to get your head around, plugging things into matching holes

you but it could have been a wrong hole and my pc would be crashing or something
you but it could have been a wrong hole and my pc would be crashing or something
Maybe you should get someone who knows something about computers to install your expensive video card, since you obviously have no idea what you're doing.
you but it could have been a wrong hole and my pc would be crashing or something
All the cables only fit in the spot that they belong in. Just plug things in where they fit and you're set.

2 X 4 pin molex goes into white things. OR 6 Pin goes into thing on top left of blue thing. Hang on I'll make a diagram. [editline]12:30AM[/editline] There I think that clears it up.
