Video has emerged showing the shocking moment a Range Rover driver apparently drove through a crowd of motorbikes as it fled with its family inside for fear of being attacked.
Fearing for the safety of his wife Roslyn Ng and young child, aged five months, the SUV driver then sped off, hitting several bikers in its path.
The family are eventually brought to a standstill in Manhattan traffic and immediately bikers run to attack the vehicle, smashing the driver's window and attempting to smash the rear door window.
An NYPD spokesman told MailOnline the Lien was taken to hospital and treated for lacerations to his face and body.

Nothing infuriated me more than reading the Daily Mail comments saying the driver was in the right running over bikers, and that they should drive over more of them.
The bikers smashed in their window and boxed them in, keep in mind the guy had his wife and 5 month old baby in the car. And the bikers that were run over were the ones blocking his way out of the commotion, so while it wasn't nice of him I can see why he did it.

And the guy who started this was a biker so it wasn't like this guy was looking to run people over.

So you were alright with the bikers terrorizing a family?
So you were alright with the bikers terrorizing a family?
Well he did risk killing several bikers, so the other bikers would be quite pissed off.

I just saw this on ABC, the bikers attacked the rover with the man's family in it, what else was he to do?

After he was attacked by them simply for bumping one of them.
They surround the SUV and then someone pulls infront and brakes, they proceed to assault the passengers, who are afraid of their safety and do what it takes to get away.
You side with the bikers?
The common image of what a biker is caused this. There was no cause for fear, yet he was filled with it to the point where he would kill anyone in his way.

I'd say when a bunch of them start beating your vehicle while your family is inside, there's a great cause for fear.

Please show me in the above article and video where they "assault" the passengers? the article says that he hit one accidentally and when the bikers surrounded him he feared for his life so that justifies running over them? If they did assault and attack him first sure but nowhere in the video and the article show that. The guy was just scared and decided to run them over which is stupid.

They did that AFTER he ran over a bunch of their friends, in the video do you even see anyone beating the vehicle when they all stop at first? no, does that article mention that? no, that only happens after he decided to run people over.

Yet no one ended up being in hospital other than the SUV driver. There was every cause for fear when you have your wife and young child in the car and are being surrounded like this, and the bikers behavior breaking in front of his car to prove a point trying to cause shit is fucking despicable. Only the bikers are to blame here.

According to the segment on ABC I watched not less than an hour ago, yes they attacked him after he bumped the guy in front of him when he randomly hit the breaks.
Even if the SUV driver was in the wrong, it doesn't justify the other bikers to chase him down and smash his face in or destroy half of his vehicle.

Prove a point what? are you making stuff up now? the guy accidentally hit him, all the bikers stopped, and he felt threatened and started running them over.
So if I hit someone by accident when I drive, and him and his friends just get out of the car, don't touch me, but because I feel threatened I can go run them over? are you out of your mind?
I'm a motorcyclist and that pack of motorcyclists are what give us a bad name. They are blatantly disobeying road laws, the whole thing started because one bike got in front of the SUV and braked causing the suv to bump his tire. That's when the pack of simpletons decided to rage against the cage. The suv driver has no fault at all in this. I'd have done the same.
His door was unlocked? Assuming he didn't disable it Range Rovers should automatically lock when he starts driving. If I remember correctly if the door is opened from the inside (and therefore unlocked) after it automatically locks it won't lock again.

In the article (even if its Daily Mail) it says:
He pulled over but some of the bikers started to damage the vehicle. The NYPD spokesman told MailOnline the driver drove off 'to avoid an impending assault'.
Isn't auto-locking an extra feature? He could have gotten it without to save money.

how was it an accident, the biker intentionally broke in front of the car so that the SUV would bump his to start shit. There is literally no other explaination for why that idiot would do that. Then with the whole mob of bikers surrounding the car, the SUV driver probably felt like he had no other option than to just drive. He had his fucking wife and kid in the car with him while some dickhead walks over aggressively you can't honestly say you wouldn't do the same.

Did he? if that's true then at least that's proof then people in the thread just being afraid of bikers to justify it. But I don't know, if someone ran over your friends I don't think you would just let him leave.
Mind linking ABCs thing on it though? because even in the video you see no one beating the car randomly.

You probably missed the part where they box him in and one of the bikers opens his door to presumably drag him out and beat the shit out of it, so the driver floors it and hits a biker
They surround the SUV and then someone pulls infront and brakes, they proceed to assault the passengers, are afraid of their safety and get away.

No because the bikers are just as bad, going after the guy only to pull him out of the car and beat him up. Even then it doesn't justify the people saying more bikers should have been run over, that's just stupid. Early on in the video you can't clearly see what's happening after the one biker slows down in front of the SUV.
I don't get it, why did the mongoloid in the white motorcycle just start braking in front of him for no reason?

If you were surrounded by angry men would you stop and get out? (And leave your family wide open to attack none the less)

I can't find it, most likely because it aired only an hour or so ago.
an intentional act by one person that creates an apprehension in another of an imminent harmful or offensive contact.
that's what assault is for the record.
They're driving illegally as fuck, and the guy's likely trying to watch his surroundings as these guys surround him and someone goes within a few feet of the guy and purposely brakes. SUV driver hits him, it's not his fault, 20+ bikers surround your vehicle, illegally stopping traffic and approach your vehicle. These guys think you just caused them harm, and you wouldn't fear being hurt?

That is why if you feel threatened you don't stop.
these guys aren't' real bikers. Bunch of fags more like it.
they don't give a shit about road laws and the one that started it SLOWED DOWN INFRONT OF A MOVING CAR gee I wonder why the biker was bumped, maybe because they're shit at riding?
and why would you stop? There's a shitload of bikers boxing you in out of the blue. No one with intelligence will stay for that.
and honest to god, if you can't see whats clearly going on in the video you are an idiot.
When a bunch of douchebags have the bright idea of ganging up on someone in a really big machine with their tiny machines, they get fucked up.
I don't see what's hard to understand about this situation. Don't pick on things bigger, stronger, and more desperate than yourself.
This is stupid all because his bike got bumped. It's not as if he wrecked it or anything, it was just a tap on his tire, nothing more.
that's what assault is for the record.

Just because you fear something doesn't mean any reaction is justified. If you get in an accident, bump someone, whatever, you pull over, not drive away.

not only that but that's all on the biker.

except they were SURROUNDING him and boxing him in.
Considering how violent they also act afterwards, Id' have sure as hell feared getting beat to death by a bunch of insane dicks on wheels.
I'm actually surprised he didn't pull out a gun and start shooting the bikers attacking his SUV at the end.

It's hard to pull over when you're fucking surrounded by motorcycles. Unless you're driving the fucking speed racer car or some shit.
