UK Facepunch Automotive Addicts. Quick question on a possibly forgein car.

Hey, on my way home today, a Toyota Previa. Registered "8XXR". In the same style (but differing size) to the UK number plates, but with an alphanumeric code that doesn't remotely follow the UK system.
Basically, I'm trying to find out if the car is from Hong Kong (just out of curiosity).
I did a status check on the DVLA for the car and its all the more confusing?
"Vehicle enquiry
The enquiry is complete.
The vehicle details for 8 XXR are:
Date of Liability 01 12 2011
Date of First Registration 01 06 2011
Year of Manufacture 2000
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2360cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status Licence Due to Expire
Vehicle Colour WHITE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available
Vehicle Excise Duty rate for vehicle
6 Months Rate £118.25
12 Months Rate £215.00"
The car is supposedly a 2000 model, but not registered in this country for 11 years?
Does anyone know whether or not this car has come from Hong Kong/Macau?
One point that suggests its from China is that the car was being driven very erratically :P
Cheers!
(Excuse my foolish typo)
Pic?
Also, watch the damn insurance frauding you.
Driving very quickly. Also, thats free public information in the UK.
I doubt facepunch will be able to help me on this one.
