On Monday, Ikea withdrew bags of the meatballs from 21 European countries after officials in the Czech Republic found traces of horse DNA in a bag labeled as beef and pork. Ikea has said U.S. stores won’t be affected, as they get their meat domestically. The recall also only affects bulk frozen bags, not the meatballs you buy in Ikea’s cafeteria. article: http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/ikea-pulls-horse-meat-meatballs-to-dismay-of-many-on-internet/2013/02/25/4811ad7c-7f96-11e2-8074-b26a871b165a_story.html
“You get fifteen meatballs for four bucks at IKEA,” tweeted Gawker’s Drew Magary. “You’re lucky they aren’t made of beetle shells.”
meatballs at ikea? what? Aren't they a furniture store?
How many companies were aware of their beef being contaminated with horse meat?
meatballs at ikea? what? Aren't they a furniture store?
They have a food court.
meatballs at ikea? what? Aren't they a furniture store?
IKEA's meatballs are legendary.
It's the definition of "orgasm". My automerge...
meatballs at ikea? what? Aren't they a furniture store?
I visit ikea for their hotdogs sometimes.
Sorry Europe, America's got the balls now!
Wait, you can buy frozen meatballs at ikea? WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED, the ones from the cafeteria are awesome.
You can make your own versions really, Swedish meatballs are a simple recipe.
You can make your own versions really, Swedish meatballs are a simple recipe.
Yeah I know, mine are good but I require the black magic used in making the ikea ones :v:
I hope lab grown meat replaces real meat in the future. Same food but without the animals getting killed in crowed, abusive prision in a very painful and brutal death.
I always thought that the food courts at IKEAs were there in case you got lost amongst all the affordable furniture and wound up going days without food like a Swedish Donner Party
Whenever I'm at IKEA I always buy their crisps and KEX chocolate. The crisps are meh, but KEX is so god damn good why don't they have them everywhere oh my god
meatballs at ikea? what? Aren't they a furniture store?
They sell you some ground meat You have to make the meat ball
meatballs at ikea? what? Aren't they a furniture store?
IKEA is well known to have a great food in their stores, great quality and really cheap. You can even refill your drink as much as you want, once you paid for it.
They sell you some ground meat You have to make the meat ball
Judging by how everything else works at IKEA you probably get individually packaged meat proteins, a hex key and a confusing assembly manual and you have to assemble the meatballs yourself.
i now require meatballs
Also If they only say Meat balls They technically don't specify what meat
meatballs at ikea? what? Aren't they a furniture store?
I'm surprised you've never heard of them, Ikea meatballs are pretty well known.

I'm from the Czech Republic and I eat at IKEA plenty of times, and I can confirm it doesn't matter if the meatballs have horse in them. They are great either way, especially with gravy and mashed potatoes yo.

The Ikea store here in Denver is going to stop selling them as well.
Yeah I know, mine are good but I require the black magic used in making the ikea ones :v:
I always knew horses were a vital ingredient in the dark arts
I hope lab grown meat replaces real meat in the future. Same food but without the animals getting killed in crowed, abusive prision in a very painful and brutal death.
Im sorry but the taste of meat without the suffering mixed in just wouldn't do it for me
I hope lab grown meat replaces real meat in the future. Same food but without the animals getting killed in crowed, abusive prision in a very painful and brutal death.
Guys I found the vegan
I hope lab grown meat replaces real meat in the future. Sure they exists, and that's terrible, but they are the minority.

If you lie about the taste I'll force feed you more. If you don't I'll strangle you, quarter you, and feed you to the pigs.
