Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs will return to the big screen for two single-night engagements in December. Reservoir Dogs will bow Dec. 4, marking the film's 20-year anniversary, and 1994's Pulp Fiction -- a best picture Oscar nominee and Palme d'Or winner at Cannes -- will unspool two days later. The films will be presented using new digital-cinema projection systems in more than 625 movie theaters nationwide. Each showing will include a bonus documentary highlighting Tarantino’s 20-year career and include a selection of handpicked movie trailers from films that inspired the filmmaker. “There is no doubt that Quentin Tarantino’s writing and directorial style has reinvented filmmaking as we know it,” said Shelly Maxwell, executive VP of NCM Fathom Events, which is partnering with Miramax and IGN on the re-release of the films that launched the former video store clerk’s storied career. Miramax and Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release the Tarantino XX: 8-Film Collection on Blu-ray on Nov. 20. The set contains eight films selected by Tarantino to illustrate the first 20 years of his career, plus two extra discs packed with more than seven hours of never-before-seen interviews and special featurettes. The set also includes original artwork designed and illustrated by Mondo. Tarantino’s newest film, Django Unchained, will hit theaters Dec. 25. I'd definately see pulp fiction again on the big screen.
Quentin tarantino wrote a mothers day card to his mom, about him killing his own mother, and feeling so sad and heartbroken about it, and about how much he would miss his mom. At the age of 7.
I hope this comes to Australia
I hope this comes to Australia
Aint no country i ever heard of, they speak english in Australia?!
Two of my favourite movies ever? Back on the big screen? Fuck yes. Literally influenced me to go into the film industry.
Aint no country i ever heard of, they speak english in Australia?!
We possess no concept of language, we speak only in our native Australian tongue. G'day mate bloody scorcher today ain't it
are they both gonna be remastered in super original 3-D :OOOO?
I hope they're Two-Dee remastered.
I love going to anniversary rereleases of movies. I went to a BttF screening for it's 25th anniversary and the movie was made so much better when you had the whole audience just applauding and reacting to the movie, it sucks you in.
definitely gonna go see these, they can only get better on the big screen
Oooh, that's a bingo!
I always wanted something like this. Just bring the movie back to the big screen, no remake, no new SFX bullshit, just as it is. People are definitely going to come.
are they both gonna be remastered in super original 3-D :OOOO?
why would you want to see the gimp scene in 3D?
It sucks ass that these movies wont come to Finland now. And also that Django Unchained comes to Finland at the end of January, I mean what the hell.
Pulp Fiction was okay, but god Reservoir Dogs was pretty fucking boring. One of those few films where you can't wait until the film ends.
When I read the title I thought they were going to either be remade, or have sequels out of nowhere. Better than expected though.

Not directed by Tarantino but would anyone else like to see this return to the big screen?
yeh
ur opinion sucks my butt [editline]24th October 2012[/editline]
Anything to see this on a big screen Quentin Tarantino is a god
i prefer old tarantino, his new films (kill bill and onwards) are ok, but i prefer the feel his older ones had
Yeah but there's still a charm in the newer movies that's for sure, can't really put my finger on it but you know it's there.
Here in Sofia, they're doing a screening of all of his movies, which is fucking awesome.
Aint no country i ever heard of, they speak english in Australia?!
E-e-eh?
yeh
You have bad taste in films.
Oh wow coincidentally Pulp Fiction is being screened at a local cinema club this sunday. Guess it's about time I watched it past jack rabbit slims.
Great two of the most overrated movies of all time
Gosh SO overrated *brushes hair back* [editline]24th October 2012[/editline] *fwoosh*
Great two of the most overrated movies of all time
How are they overrated, both movies are insanely great, I'd go as far as saying they're classics.
