you know what I smell?
Sounds like they're doing it on purpose just to fuck with Apple. :v:
Who's child did they have scribble that thing.
Sony is like fuck you apple

It's like an iPad crossed with a WiiU controller.
Ok they're what, getting ideas from Nintendo now? Or who actually invented a controller with such things first?
It's like an iPad crossed with a WiiU controller.
It looks like a WiiU controller which is even more awkward to hold
I'm guessing they will try and justify the name by saying it is an extension of the EyeToy brand.
This isn't going to have a positive effect for Sony. They will probably get sued by Apple and there's going to be a lot of product confusion with the general public.
That looks extremely uncomfortable to hold. But a good idea regardless.
First thing I thought of was a squashed version of this abomination
Why Sony Just make the PS Vita your Wii U controller gimmick. People already own it, it's got a nice feel to it and proper controls as well as stuff like a touch screen so you can market it. comE on
It looks like a WiiU controller which is even more awkward to hold
I heard from some reviews that even though the WiiU controller looked uncomfortable, it was surprisingly comfy to hold and use. But i don't know.
I heard from some reviews that even though the WiiU controller looked uncomfortable, it was surprisingly comfy to hold and use. But i don't know.
I've used one, it's actually pretty nice. This being a flat square looks like a different story though
tbh that patent thingy looks terrible
they somehow managed to piss off the lawyers of two multinational corporations in one fell swoop, i honestly respect sony for that
Wow Sony, its like you want to drive your customers away with a stick if you even think of releasing something among the lines of that instead of a regular controller... Leave it as a patent please.
Sony's "eye pad" looks like it has the comfort of an NES controller. Except bigger and blockier.
Sony's "eye pad" looks like it has the comfort of an NES controller. Except bigger and blockier.
yes i'm sure the actual final product will look just like the drawing in the patent form
It looks like a WiiU controller which is even more awkward to hold
WiiU controller actually feels very nice. I thought it was gonna be uncomfortable as well.
It's like the PS Move all over again. I wish Sony wasn't afraid to try out new ideas, instead of just doing what their competitors are doing to try and keep up with them
Must be related to the EyePhone:
Seriously, does sony ever get any original ideas? This is just another copy of nintendo's ideas.
looks like a worse version of the gamepad minus 1 control stick how will you hold it? the gamepad has grips to prevent people from dropping it while you're play the game. this is just flat + thin. not very ergonomic for games. especially that considering that odd stick placement. hopefully the design gets better
Ok they're what, getting ideas from Nintendo now?
Where have you been for the past seven years?
I heard they were planning on releasing the eyePhone.
