• Looking for Crossfire ready PSU

Name says it all. I made the mistake of buying a cheap ass Raidmax PSU last year and now barely trust it to power my 4870. Now I am looking for a power supply that (hopefully) does not exceed $100 but can power two 4870's in crossfire. I am also looking to be able to rely on it to power more powerful and power-hungry graphics cards later on. Specs: Core 2 Duo e6400 (going to be overclocked to 3.0-3.2Ghz) 4870 (Two by sometime in 2010) Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard Single HDD (Again, possibly two down the road) 3x250mm fans, 2x120mm fans Heres hoping it also might be modular, but if not thats alright. Thanks, The Last Man
This perhaps. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371021
More power for less. Modular, excellent brand. Just don't plan on bottom-mounting it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341018
only 2 PCI-Es vs the Antec's 4
Good point. I didn't know the 4870 took two 6-pins. Yikes. [editline]10:38PM[/editline] Yeah, OP go with what Brendon said.
Alright, seems good. Thanks guys.
they stopped making 4870s :(
they stopped making 4870s :(
I'm pretty sure they're stopping production on all 4000 series soon.
