Hello, im at my grandparents house for easter, and i thought it would be fun to use her laptop for steam. It was, even though it could barely run Half-Life 1. Anyway, i want to remove the steam program from her computer, without removing my account, cause i have over 150$ worth of games in their D: So: How would i remove Steam from a computer, without removing my account online? Be serious, i dont want her to worry about this when im gone, and she wont know what to do...i *think* i just remove the directory: C:/ Program files/Steam Steam support only instructs on how to remove account, but ill keep looking online for answers. Thx for the help (if you actually tried)
All you do is uninstall the client. The account won't be affected.
Just uninstall it using Programs & Features in Control Panel. It just removes the program.

Actually yeah, it will. The steam uninstaller deletes the steam folder and everything inside.
Right click on the SteamApps folder -> Select "cut" -> Paste it somewhere outside the steam folder.

Your account won't be affected by uninstalling steam. There's no way of removing your games once they've been activated with your account.

He's only worried about his actual account, not the SteamApps folder.
