Out of the all FF games to become a trilogy, why 13? You don't really hear much praise for either games.

Barely even completed both of them. I'm nearing the end of FFXIII. The second one can be hard as fuck, when you go into that puzzle place in Oreba.
I see she got the Riku treatment. Want a character to be even more edgy/angsty than they already are? Give them blindfolds and put them in even dumber clothing to accommodate it.

The more I hear about this FF13 business the more it sounds like the people behind it really wanted it to be the new magnum opus of the Final Fantasy series and aren't willing to settle with the unimpressive response it (and 13-2) got.
Oh and the video's gone.
I can't even finish these games because I get frustrated at them. Turn-based isn't my thing.

I think I'll stick with 4,6, 7, 9 and Chrono Trigger thanks square.
I like the series but man getting annoyed at in each instalment there's less playable characters.
6 to 2 to 1. Can't wait to hear all the wonderful monologues that will occur.
Would also have preferred to have a new character rather than Lightning again.
Recently bought xiii-2 seeing as it was for £5 sealed at GAME. 20 hours in so far, not terrible but not fantastic. Felt same way about xiii too.
Enjoyable but they've degraded in quality no doubt from previous ones. Hoping the latest has the old fashioned world map way of navigating which I like a lot more.

Versus XIII was put on hold, KH3 won't be coming out until Versus XIII is finished. Not sure about Chrono Trigger.
