Permalinks to local stations' Facebook posts (witness the stupidity firsthand!)

I own like 5 jimi Hendrix CDs this is bullshitty because people should have respect, but of course there will be dumb knee jerk reactions posted by idiots.
The Guitar God is displeased
One of the unspoken rules of street art is you dont spray in monuments, statues or stuff like that. That was a pretty stupid move.
I can see why people are reacting like that though. Jimi Hendrix has a lot more meaning to them than General Whogivesafuck.

I'll have you know that General Whogivesafuck is a distinguished war hero of the battle of Whereverthehell and your post is nothing more than flagrant defacement of that one thing he did that one time.
If it weren't for brave men like him we'd probably be all speaking Somethingorother right now.
Jackasses. Of all the things they could tag, they tagged a statue of Jimi. :(
Also, yesterday was the 43rd anniversary of his death.
Way to ruin your name. Any other tags with those monikers out there are going to get trashed by other writers, it'll be fun.
I can't even read what they tagged from the image in the article because of the angle cutting parts off. What did they put on it?

Looks like NOD 0(?? after it)

Street art != those illegible scribbles rebel taggers use to identify themselves.
I mean, it's fucked up that they deface the greatest guitarist who ever lived, but yeah those are some pretty dumb overreactions.
Street art != those illegible scribbles rebel taggers use to identify themselves.
Regardless, most taggers know that you don't do dumb shit like tagging a monument.
Toys will be toys though.
If Jimi were still alive today he wouldn't freak out about this. He'd be chill.

I only heard that you don't spray residential homes or nature.
Government property and corporate owned buildings are fair game.

But the fact they did it on the anniversary of his death is pretty god damn disrespectful.
That guy in the background has a sick polo

Breakyourfac killed Hendrix.

Use [t] tags to turn the image into a thumbnail.

Which is why my only complaint is "what an absolutely shitty tag"
I would kick that person ass if I saw them do that

That wasn't streetart, that is just straight vandalism

well tags belong to street art just as graffiti or stencils do. The difference is that theres some good tags, and then theres a whole bunch of bad tags

Spraying in residential homes or in nature would be a dick move as well.
But if I wanted to tag something, never in my life would I think it would be a good idea to tag a statue, or a city monument. It generally makes the building look bad and your graffiti too, not to mention its something dumb to do

Someone should fill the inside of their eyesockets with spraypaint.

But that would kill them, or at least, make them blind for life
Should we start hanging people on lampposts because they committed adultery too?
