Thank you jesus. That fight is fucking infuriating if you don't stop rolling forward before you jump. And no where in the game does it teach you that in order to jump higher while rolling up hill you have to stop rolling, jump and then start again.
Awesome! Decided it was best waiting for the first couple patches after it got kinda panned. I think it'll be time buy soon

There's [I]a lot[/I] the game doesn't teach you, for better or worse. But a fucking nightmare of a mechanic was the glacier level's transformation. You want to go in reverse?... Did you mean [I]forward? Of course you did[/I]
i might be misremembering, but doesn't this fix a lot of the major technical problems thia game had? the bad auto camera? the unskipable cutscenes? the minigames?
i remember critical's video on this game and the general message i got was "it's a decent enough game but all the bugs made it painful to play"
these retro-style platform games aren't my style (i haven't played banjo-kazooie) but i can definitely see myself getting this sometime.
