Well then time to uninstall TF2.
Well then time to uninstall TF2.
because the game is just about hats yeah haha hat fortress
Well then time to uninstall TF2.
Why the hell have you installed it in the first place if you're just gonna stand around?
Why the hell have you installed it in the first place if you're just gonna stand around?
Free money?
I still find it sad it took them like 4 years to do this.
I don't understand does this only block it for external programs? I rarely ever play tf2 and don't idle much.
the control of the market has been moved from nerds to spergs.
Free money?
Yeah pretty much.
alias fuckyouvalveidowhatiwant "+forward; +right; +moveleft; +attack" And check back every 30 minutes like I normally do.
Now half of the game's servers are ruined.
Now half of the game's servers are ruined.
Just the non-vac-secured ones. All five of them.
I don't understand does this only block it for external programs? I rarely ever play tf2 and don't idle much.
Seems like you only read the title of article.
So, it does nothing to those who actually have the game up and just stand there in those idle servers with the killing and such
So, it does nothing to those who actually have the game up and just stand there in those idle servers with the killing and such
It makes it so you have to press enter or click the confirm box when an item drops. It can be easily circumvented by getting a macro program and telling it to click enter every once in a while as long as it's the active window.
alias fuckyouvalveidowhatiwant "+forward; +right; +moveleft; +attack" And check back every 30 minutes like I normally do.
it'll still stop the majority of people.
it'll still stop the majority of people.
typing +forward +left doesnt take much of a brain oh wait were talking tf2 here
alias fuckyouvalveidowhatiwant "+forward; +right; +moveleft; +attack" And check back every 30 minutes like I normally do.
For your information you don't even need to move.
and idle programs will have an update to aleviate this "fix" in a weeks time at most.
and idle programs will have an update to aleviate this "fix" in a weeks time at most.
let's hope so. i mean, tf2 isn't really worth playing anymore, but still.
let's hope so. i mean, tf2 isn't really worth playing anymore, but still.
Well i enjoy it from time to time, i just have idlers run so i can trade for stuff, which in turn could potentially make money. as stated above "because money".
TF2 is still fun unless you're retarded and act like its 100% hats.
Will this fix traders acting like complete twats?
TF2 is still fun
It is still a lot of fun, just in a different way now. The weird thing is, after coming back to the game from a 2 year break I feel like a completely new player in a way. The core game mechanics and goals are the same but everything/everyone looks so different and everyone is using so many different weapons that it's a bit overwhelming.
I still find it sad it took them like 4 years to do this.
Wait, what? Why do you find it sad?
TF2 is still fun unless you're retarded and act like its 100% hats.
it's not really about the hats ruining it for me, it's just personally been becoming boring for me.
Welp, 3 of my accounts have just become worthless. Oh well, that 2 dollar orange box sale years ago did pay off, 6 bucks for 1800 hours of idling per account and thousands of items is worth it. Still, at least I can play the game and have fun without worrying about items personally.
TF2 is still fun unless you're retarded and act like its 100% hats.
The direction they took the game in general has kinda killed it. The new gamemodes all seem fairly decent (I was fucking happy about Payload way back when, the newer ones are interesting but not to the same degree). But the amount of extra shit that exists now that isn't cosmetic is ridiculous. There are more weapons than they really need, classes don't perform well defined roles any more thanks to the amount of shit that weapons change. It's hard (and overwhelming) to keep up with all of this shit when you have stuff in your actual life going on stopping you dedicating time to it. And trading is still fucking retarded. The whole concept of the "economy" is fucking retarded.
Meanwhile the folks on the vanilla servers couldn't care because they didn't notice.
