So I've built my machine but I've backed up my computer and am preparing to get a boot SSD for the OS and two programs I frequently use. So I'm looking at about 50gb/60gb SSD but I came across these and they appear to have the same specs just one costs more because of the review?
1st Product:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227528
2nd Product:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227531
So am I missing something here? Is one better than the other or just to save money go with the 2nd one? Well I hope to get some other people's insight on this. Thanks for your time and consideration.
The only difference between those two (very good) SSDs is that the Agility 2 uses a standard SF-1200 controller and firmware.
The Vertex 2 uses the same controller, but comes with a different firmware that enables higher small file random write speeds.
Although the difference is so tiny I would recommend getting the Agility 2 (Like I am, although im getting the 240GB one)
