It's like a rattling sound that sometimes appears, started last night, and usually goes away temporarily if i shake the case or hit the card lightly, should i be worried?

maybe the fan is making contact with the plastic lid?
Did you press down on the actual fan to make sure it was properly seated?

I'm not sure how i can reseat a fan, that is inside a plastic cover, the plastic cover of the graphics card.

but the graphics card is properly seated yes
You should be able to remove said plastic cover with a screwdriver or something.

I'm pretty sure that would void the warranty though, and if i can get it replaced with the warranty i have left, i don't want to fuck that over.
If it's anything like my 5850, the fan is open in the plastic enclosure. Take your card out, give the fan a bit of a push down into the card.
