• Climbing the Hill

I went to a hill with some of my friends and family, and started to climb it. I had a camera at my disposal (haha!) and decided to test out my photography skills, so I did. I had enough pictures for a story. I came into the woods with the camera and felt that I should take some starter pictures, the first one being a bee on a plant, as my test. It came out looking spectacular. I just walked for about 10 minutes, as I had the dog which, although old, was raring to go, therefore I stepped away from my photographic talent for a while. It was a 20 minute walk until the dog was taken off me. Then we travelled up the hill, the dog, who is 14, tired quickly. I took a picture of the view at the bottom of the hill This picture looks nicer in HD There were a bunch of rock things there, most of which were climbable, so I climbed them and had others take pictures for a while. I wanted to do climbing :) It didn't take an awful long time for everybody to follow me up. Most of us got there apart from the guy taking the picture, who didn't want to come up anyway (image is blurred to safeguard identities) We went particularly higher until we got to the top and were immediately amazed by the view, so I snapped some pictures This picture looks nicer in HD. We were kind of impressed with ourselves and took a variety of pictures standing on a rock at the top of the hill, it was a little windy and I dropped the camera several times. Also - I'm 13, for those wondering about my size in the pictures.
Nice camera That's certainly a better view than places like Mt. Fuji because you're still under the clouds
What country is that? Ireland?

Ginteru why did you post a .gif of yourself?
The people blurred out ruin those pictures. You might as well not have included them.
The first pic is really nice. And that view is incredible.
why do people still post 56k warning, nobody uses that anymore. except teh_shane
Ginteru why did you post a .gif of yourself?
oh merk

Also I have climbed Croagh Patrick. Shit was so cold. [editline]08:51PM[/editline] Also all digital photos since 2004 or so have been in :airquote:HD:airquote:
Damn. I haven't seen anyone put a 56k warning in over a year. Also, nice pictures.

Why do Facepunchers make threads about going outside, is it so "rare" for them? :downs:
What country is that? Ireland?
Luffborough, England. [editline]07:48AM[/editline] It was a generic camera, just self-focuses.
Reminds me of the time I climbed up some hills. The following four images are in the village of Pateley Bridge. That last one gives you an idea of how high up we were, since you could see the clouds. We the moved along to the village of 'Kettlewell' Yeah, Americans, Ha Ha; Kettlewell. There was a beautiful river running under a bridge which I decided to stand on and take some pictures off of. There's a massive hill overlooking kettlewell which has a 'small' cliff at the top of it. Needless to say I only ascended the hill and not the cliff. So here's a picture at the bottom of said hill, looking into Kettlewell. A shot of the deeper dales. You can see kettlewell from here. bah bah bah bah bah About halfway up the hill now. Steeper than it looked. Higher still! This is as high as I got. The hill was too steep to proceed up. A 10 minute drive out of Kettlewell took us to this incredible (it's better when you're really there) view. There's still snow here from almost 3 weeks ago. A fucking awesome road. There was already a thread... oh wow im stupid I somehow thought this was a new thread. rate boxes.
HD in my eyes is bigger than 1024x768, which the ones embedded are not [editline]08:14AM[/editline]
Reminds me of the time I climbed up some hills. *huge amount of images here* Copied directly from my thread because I can't be bothered to remove all the text.
River ones are the best.
HD in my eyes is bigger than 1024x768, which the ones embedded are not [editline]08:14AM[/editline] River ones are the best.
Yeah. My camera is crap and it's even more crap in the fog (lots of that up the hill)
The camera I have is like 5 years old... It has no problems with fog
The camera I have is like 5 years old... It has no problems with fog
I didn't say mine is old, I said it's crap ;) It cost £80 from Sainsburys about 3 years ago.

Why do you have a black thing protruding from your anus? EDIT: or you know thigh EDIT: Reminds me of the time I saw that exhibit with lots of dead human bodies (REAL bodies) and there was a guy with a blood vessel leading from his anus to the ground. EDIT: he was skeletal so there wasn't really an anus
Why do you have a black thing protruding from your anus? EDIT: or you know thigh
If I'm perfectly honest I don't actually know. BUT I resized them on PAINT.NET so it's probably a line tool I accidentally did.
