This i pretty cool, however doesn't this not allow to stand still and look around?
FPS games on a touch screen device will always have bad controls however attempts to make improvements are always welcome.
I still kinda find the concept funny considering we are emulating joysticks to play FPS games.

Look at the 1:04 mark. He stands still and manages to turn a little.
I think you need to touch the circle's edge to move the camera while standing still, while moving around you just slide your finger there.

This looks remarkably less awful than when he showed it last time.
