What a fucking surprise.
The old and shitty Gamebryo has higher system requirements than Witcher 3.
You did it, Todd. You actually did it.
I managed to play Witcher 3 on pretty much everything high with a CPU below these recommended specs with a 2gb 760. I can even play TPP with everything on max and get over 60 fps even in intensive scenes. Thanks Todd.
They should have scrapped Gamebyro five years ago, why do they continue to build off of such a shitty engine? Other than the fact that people eat Fallout up despite all of the stability issues and general glitches (including me, although I'm not foolish enough to preorder it just in case.)

Japan is, uh, a month later at 12am on Thursday, December 17th. Sorry.[/QUOTE]
God fucking dammit....

Gotta censor that post nuclear wasteland for Japan man.
although I heard it was due to localization more then censoring.

According to the bethesda blog, the Japanese version doesn't even have English as an option, so there might be some censorship in the dialogue. Every other region appears to have english as an option.
30GB, Bethesda's own texture format that's really shit and huge confirmed :v:
I've got the shittiest rig of you all and chances are [sp]I'm still gonna try to run it[/sp].
Quite the powerful PC is recommended. I hope those Recommended means you can run all max with 60fps.
Guess it's time I upgraded. Still running a 770 2GB
Only thing that doesn't meet the minimum is my 6870, should I even try running it?
I was not expecting a Bethesda game to be this demanding since you could run all their other games on toasters.
Looks like i'll have to buy it on console. :v:
AMD makes nearly 5ghz octo cores? Shit I want one of those. And still over $100 cheaper than Intel Quads, nice

Winter is coming, this will save money on heating!
According to right clicking "File Browser" on Win10 and hitting properties, I meet the RAM min reqs.
Which is weird because last time I checked I had only 6 gigs but w/e not complaining.

They're also not really 8 full cores. And don't perform all that well in certain Bethesda games. Like in Skyrim an entry level dual core was beating those out.
I'm glad I'm finally upgrading my rig before this comes out. Won't have enough to pre-order, but definitely on my birthday later in November.
I am so hype, this is gonna be great!
My rig just barely passes the recommended, but I was expecting FO4 to have lower spec requirements than that. Oh well.
oh man my 570 1gb is really beginning to show its age now
happy i've been saving up cash for upgrades these past months

30GB is fucking tiny for a game like this.

A lot of them have good price vs performance but its not as great as it sounds.
Most games don't use multiple cores either, which usually makes my 5820k cry
I can also affirm that AMD makes great heaters. My R290 crossfire keeps the room warm and the excess noise keeps the rodents away.

My guess is uncompressed audio or something... remember shadows of mordor? insane.
If my guess is correct i hope the first mods are to compress voice audio, as it is only either a tax on the RAM or a tax on the HDD and from previous experiance gamebryos memory management isn't the best.
