Portal 2 honestly deserved it, it was fucking fantastic and had some of the funniest writing I've heard all year.

It just screamed Valve. So amazing. Never had so much fun in a storyline game, and the co-op is just as great.

Don't talk nonsense. It's not like EA stepped in and said "We'll take this one". A rep from Valve was probably unable to pick the award up. If anything I bet EA will end up taking it to Valve anyway.

I loved witcher 2 and it was definitely on a par with NV for me, but it wasn't released on consoles so is likely to get shafted at awards shows.
