Human Rights Commissioner Navi Pillay said on Wednesday, citing an "exhaustive" U.N.-commissioned study.[/B] Over five months of analysis, researchers cross-referenced seven sources to compile a list of 59,648 individuals reported killed between March 15, 2011, and November 30, 2012. "Given there has been no let-up in the conflict since the end of November, we can assume that more than 60,000 people have been killed by the beginning of 2013," Pillay said. "The number of casualties is much higher than we expected, and is truly shocking."[/quote]
When will the fucking UN Intervene and actually end this. Not "give supplies" Not "observe" Fucking stop the scum-bag leader in charge of the country from butchering his own people by actually using the combined forces of the United Nations military forces to stop this mad man from slaughtering those not loyal to his regime /rage
Yeesh. That is awful

SAA drops bombs on civilians, while FSA uses civilian locations as their target for ambushing SAA, or storing munitions for future/present battles. Either side has no remorse when it comes to human life, I could link the videos, but they're fairly graphic what FSA do to captured or killed SAA troops. While on the other hand we've all seen what SAA troops have done to countless families. It's not a win/win either way whoever wins or loses.
