this is just going to make streaming cost more
How would it? DVD rentals were adding on to the streaming, Netflix is just streaming only, Qwikster is DVD only, meaning its gonna be cheaper.
Aw well, I already switched over to blockbuster, since blockbuster also rents game I'm a happy guy.
Qwikster sounds like a very generic, boring, and unorginal name that they made up after brainstorming for 10 minutes.
It sounds like a placeholder.
Sounds like Hipster, which is not a good idea.
Can anyone please explain to me why is this a bad thing? I live in Europe and have no access to Netflix, so I don't know.

i already miss them :(
Weird, in the email we got it says you could get it and it wouldn't effect price. As it was combined with it for free
qwikster?
what is this, the 90s?
But Starz just said they were removing their movies from the Netflix library
The streaming definitely won't be good enough on it's own, due to the small library
but I don't want just a DVD service.
And now I have to completely separate my account to have both?

It's not bad, but now that Netflix lowered their prices, Starz got all "FUK U!!!!" and left.

Blockbuster recently was acquired by Dish Network, and blockbuster on demand is a nice service. They may have had some financial problems in the past but Dish obviously has some plans for it. The stores may be shutting down, buy I highly doubt they're going anywhere.
