• New mobo won't post/no signal

Specs MSI z270 sli mobo 6700k 24gb avexir Recently my z270m mortar mobo died randomly. I shut the PC off, went for a jog, came back and turned it on and got no post/signal. So I got a new mobo and case, hooked everything up and am getting the same issue. I assumed by this point it was either the CPU or memory. So, I hooked up my old mobo I started with (the one I had before the z270m mortar, the one that died recently) and it all works fine but the new mobo I bought (MSI Z270 SLI) doesn't. I tried one stick of ram in the preferred spot in the manual, no GPU, plugged straight into mobo dvi, no drives, no usbs plugged in and still nothing. I tried taking the mobo out and running it outside the case due to possible shorting. The only things I havnt tried is taking my recently dead mobo and putting it into the new case and trying it again. I also havnt tried a diff CPU or mem sticks.. I don't have any extras lying around. Any ideas? EDIT: Went through tomshardwares troubleshoot guide, still nothing..
Although this might not be the case here, my PC has done this on occasion because mounting the cooler too heavily on the 6600k bends the corners of the cpu up and creates an unreliable connection. Bent CPU pins can easily cause this unreliability too It's possible to bend it back but I don't recommend it.
