Doesn't really look any more like a person than my Shi-Tzu does, and even then I've always said it looked like an ewok, nothing like a person really. More like a clueless teddy bear.
Also, Shi-Tzus bark like dying seals. It's obnoxious as fuck.

I've found a picture of my Shih-tzu cross with short hair, he looks nothing like a human:

It's just the eyes. It looks "human" because it's sclerae are visible. Something that's almost exclusive to humans.
