I've racked up about 400 hours on Reloaded... but haven't liked any of the Worms games since, this has definitely grabbed my attention though. That talk about recreating the feel of the '99 game sounds good, and the buildings is a great idea.
All I wanted since WWP was better enemy AI. Last game I played was Worms Reloaded and the AI wasn't improved at all, it was even worse.
Jesus, they release these Worms games almost every year. Most of these are crap and bring pretty much nothing interesting to the series. Yet people still buy them. Can someone tell me how this company still functions normally?
Another 2D worms? oh come on.
I thought the 2D was FAR superior to any of the 3D games... also I've never actually played against the AI, it's definitely made for multiplayer.

Looks great
The 3D ones weren't very good...
Say what you want, I had an absolute blast with Worms 3D.
Whenever my dad visits I still play the original Worms on my PS1 with him, we have a blast every time.
The 3D ones weren't very good...
I adored Mayhem
Did any of you actually read the article?
Looks like it could be pretty hype, though I'd be kinda sad if the water physics from Revolution don't come back, that's easily one the best features they've added imo.
Sounds like it could be decent but I'll remain skeptical until it comes out.
The 3D ones weren't very good...
Me and some friends had a old games day a week or so back and Imo that the 3D Worms for GameCube (can't remember the name) is so bad it's good.
Say what you want, I had an absolute blast with Worms 3D.
I really liked everything up to and including Worms 4, both 2D and 3D. Might help that I was 9 when Worms 4 came out :v:

Nothing better in worms 3d than calling in an airstrike to blow everything to hell
I guess I'm in a minority, personally the 3D ones are my favorites. Ultimate Mayhem for me is the perfect worms game, both 3D games in one package with the improved graphics and physics of Mayhem on an updated engine.
I really liked Ultimate Mayhem. It was a ton of fun. This looks really promising to. So colour me excited for it.
