All of those launchers sound like so much fun
And they sound like they'll make it hell for my Liberator
So I haven't played since the end of beta, and I had a terrible framerate then, has the optimization improved since?

oh god yes
Some one has a video gameplay of VR Training because I am again on downloading update ! ?

Depends on if you've bought an i5 between now and then
If so, congrats! You can now max the game out and have zero framerate issues. Some i3's and i7's (assuming they use the same architecture as the i5) are also in this club.
If you are on any other processor though, even if its better than an i5, enjoy playing the game at poor FPS no matter what and/or at a decent FPS on medium settings.
AKA I've always been able to max the game out on my i5 no problem, and I don't have a super beefy video card or anything like that. Game defo isn't that optimized on other processors though from what I hear with people who don't have that
so you're saying they totally optimized it for Intel CPUs, but beside that everybody can go to hell right?
great.

I myself got an i3-330 Mobile CPU, and it runs like fucking shit.
Prowler HEAT / HE rounds have had their damage reduced to no longer 1-shot kill infantry, killing a full health infantry will require both Prowler rounds to be fired. This does not affect vs. vehicle damage.
There go those infantry killing rampages I always went on.

No
My bf has a phenom 2 and can actually run the game pretty decently considering its a $100 processor. Still slows down in huge fights but otherwise ain't bad
I'm just saying they clearly made the engine the most optimized for i5's and anything that shares that cpu architecture (your mobile CPU doesn't... at all) tends to run the engine PS2 runs on flawless. Its not like they actively chose to do this, they probably primarily developed the engine on such PC's and they probably didn't think it would differ too much for other CPU's
But like for example someone on FP has a pretty high end i7 (that doesn't use the same CPU architecture as the i5) and can't run the game smooth at all. Other people have CPU's that have as much power as an i5 2500k, if not slightly more (which can max the game easily) but only get average FPS and they need to run the game on medium to get decent FPS.
PS2 is just very picky. If you've got the right type of hardware it runs perfect. If you don't, then it doesn't. It'll either be super low FPS (depending on how low-end your hardware is) or just not run efficently.
I cannot wait to see squadrons of flashes with Lancer-mates on the back trolling the SHIT out of tanks.
I may be alone in this, but I'd love a spectator mode so you could just fly around and watch the battle. It could be exploited, but only really in the same way is if you have a character on the opposite team purely to find enemy locations. And you could make it not render things like claymores.

PS2 Filmmaking, a new realm.
I'd like it if they made the game not run like garbage. Seems like it's the one thing that will NEVER be improved upon unless you spend the ~$400 for intel stuff.
Patch looks awesome but until I can get atleast 40 FPS at lowest settings I just can't bother playing it. Losing gunfights purely because you are dropping frames feels terrible.
